Telling Our Story: Living and Working in New Castle, Delaware

The Library Friends cordially invite you to attend the unveiling of our “Telling Our Stories” project, which began nearly a year ago. Meet the people involved in the program and listen to the stories they told.

“Telling Our Story: Living and Working in New Castle, Delaware” project –- based on the American Library Association’s “StoryCorps @ Your Library” program – will be unveiled at the New Castle Public Library on Friday, September 29th, at 6 p.m.

At this event, sponsored by the New Castle Library Friends, the community will have a chance to meet project volunteers, and to preview the stories and photographs that will be uploaded to the library’s website before the unveiling.

The stories and photographs will also be added to the Delaware Heritage Collection (via the DE Division of Libraries website.) Light refreshments will be served.
