City of New Castle Truck Traffic Public Workshop

Monday January 29, 2018, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
New Castle Senior Center, 400 S. Street New Castle, DE

The Delaware Department of Transportation and the City of New Castle will host a public workshop on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 4p.m. to 7p.m. at the New Castle Senior Center, 400 South Street, New Castle, Delaware.

At the request of the City of New Castle, the Department of Transportation conducted a Truck Traffic Study on RT9 in the City of New Castle. The purpose of the workshop will be to solicit public comment on the collected data and the proposed recommendations in the study.

Interested persons are invited to express their views in writing, giving reasons for support of, or opposition to, the proposed changes.  Comments will be received at the workshop or can be mailed to DelDOT Community Relations P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903, sent via email to dotpr@state.de.us or by fax (302) 739-2092.

This workshop location is accessible to persons having disabilities.  Any person having special needs or requiring special aid, such as an interpreter for the hearing impaired, is requested to contact DelDOT by phone or mail one week in advance.
