Step back in time and experience New Castle in the time of William Penn.  New Castle Courthouse Museum.

10:15 a.m.—Livery of Seizen
Ceremony
: New Castle resident, Jim Whisman, will portray William Penn participating in the Livery of Seizen ritual in which the town and its surroundings were conveyed to him by the Duke of Yorks’ representatives.

11:30 a.m. The Tryal of William Penn: A historical play about the 1670 trial of William Penn.

12:30 p.m. DeBlokfluiters Concert: Recorder ensemble performance of 18th century music.

1:00 p.m. The Amazing Mrs. Penn: Jean Norvell portrays Hannah Penn in this first person presentation of love and life with William Penn.

2:00 p.m. Repeat performance of The Tryal of William Penn.

5:30 p.m. Early Evening Baroque Flute and Harpsichord Concert: Featuring Fred Geiersbach, Baroque flute and Gary Harney, Harpsichord.  Reservations are required for concert.
