Delaware City Refinery Weekend Refinery Operations

Date Posted: Friday, February 14th, 2020

UPDATE 4/6/20:

Delaware City Refining Company will be conducting a series of steam venting, Monday through Friday of this week, April 6th.

The venting is scheduled to take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. They plan to take all possible steps to minimize the noise levels and apologize in advance for any inconvenience their neighbors may experience. They do not anticipate the steam venting to have the same noise levels as prior venting, therefore there should be a minimal impact.

Steam venting is a safety procedure implemented that releases steam through a vent as part of a routine process that we use at the refinery.

For any further updates, the community can call the Delaware City Refinery’s 24-hour Community Information Line at (302) 834-6200.
