DNREC / Delaware Coastal Programs Public Meeting to review the archeological surveys of the City of New Castle dikes will be held:

The purpose of this meeting will be to provide a review the historical context and findings to date for the City of New Castle Dikes. Attendees are invited to provide comments as part of the Section 106 Review of the dikes. This will include information from the recent archeological surveys conducted in these areas as part of the dike reconstruction projects.
Wade Catts of John Milner Associates will present information regarding the historical findings resulting from recent archeological surveys at the dikes located at Army Creek, Gambacorta Marsh, Broad Marsh and Buttonwood Marsh. Cherie Clark Cultural and Craig Lukezic will be available for Q&A following the presentation.
