Level 2 Driving Restriction Reduced to a Level 1. State of Emergency Remains in Effect.

As of 10 am today; Monday, January 26th, 2026, the state of Delaware state of emergency remains in effect.  The Level 2 Driving Restriction for Kent and New Castle Counties has been reduced to a Level 1 Driving Restriction. This means that drivers should avoid traveling on roadways, unless there is a significant safety, health, or business reason to do so. All motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution.
