September 11, 2001 20th Anniversary Memorial Service

The Good Will Fire Company in conjunction with the New Castle City Police Department will be hosting a Memorial Service to remember and honor those who lost their lives in the terror attacks on September 11th, 2001. The memorial service will take place on Battery Park along the Delaware River in New Castle. The memorial service will begin at 6pm with the presentation of colors by the Delaware State Police Honor Guard. The service will include remarks by City of New Castle Mayor, Michael Quaranta, music by the New Castle Methodist Church Choir and Good Will Ladies Auxiliary Member Regina Oliver, remarks by NCPD Chief McCabe and GWFC Chief Majewski, Jr., and a video presentation remembering that fateful day. 

Members of the Fire and Police communities as well as the community at large are invited to attend this remembrance event. 

Dress: Fire and Police personnel are requested to wear either Class A dress uniforms or Class B duty uniforms. 

Parking: Parking for Fire and Police personnel will be available at the New Castle Senior Center, 400 South Street New Castle, DE 19720. 

Parking for the Public will be available at 500 South Street New Castle, DE as well as on street parking.
