  1. An application has been filed by Michael Dorph & Leah Justis, 907 Gray St, (Owner & Applicant), for a property located in the R-3 Zoning District at 907 Gray St, New Castle, DE 19720, Tax Parcel No. 21-004.00-211, seeking: (1) an appeal from the Administration Official’s determination of the City Code Section 230-57C; or alternatively, (2) variances to the R-3 zoning requirements for minimum lot size, minimum lot depth, maximum building bulk, and minimum rear yard setback to permit the subdivision of tax parcel 21-01400-211 into two lots.
  2. An application has been filed by Deemer Properties, LLC c/o James Landon, Esq., for properties located at 600,602,604,606, and 608 Tremont St (tax parcel 21-01500-035) and 601 and 603 Deemer Place (tax parcel 21-01500-036) , New Castle, DE 19720, seeking variances to permit the subdivision of the two parcels into seven parcels each containing one (existing) single family home, neither adding nor subtracting any improvements, nor requiring any additional facilities, utilities, or street improvements. Variances sought from the R-2 zoning requirements include lot area, side yard, rear yard, and building bulk.

 

For the purpose of considering this application, the Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Room of the New Castle Police Department, located at 1 Municipal Blvd., New Castle, DE 19720
