PUBLIC HEARING

The City Council will hold a Public Hearing on:

Ordinance 555 An Ordinance Establish a Property Tax Rate Upon Total Reassessment, To Temporarily Reduce Certain Penalties for Delinquent Tax Payments, and To Adopt the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget.

Ordinance 557 An Ordinance to Amend the City of New Castle Municipal Code Regarding the Disability Property Tax Exemption.

The Public Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, June 26th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Room at the New Castle Police Station 1 Municipal Blvd., New Castle, DE 19720.  The Public Hearing will be followed by a Special/ Budget City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. or immediately after the Public Hearing has ended.
