Organizational Meeting

AGENDA

First meeting of the Sea Level Rise Task Force; Councilperson Suzanne Souder will lead the meeting until the group selects a chair from among its members.

1. Overview of purpose of Task Force. – Councilperson Suzanne Souder
2. Review of FOIA and other legal requirements for the Task Force. – City Solicitor Dan Losco
3. Self-introduction by members of the Task Force to include where they live, a brief summary of their background, and why they wanted to be a part of this task force. Exchange of contact information to facilitate future communication among the group.
4. Selection of a chair from among the group.
5. Review of prior studies of sea level rise in New Castle, the study currently in progress, and other resources available to the task force. – City Engineer David Athey
6. Public comments
7. Selection of date of next meeting and discussion of organization of tasks moving forward. Chair.
