Residents are encouraged to enroll in emergency alerts regarding traffic conditions; including road closures, inclement weather, missing persons, criminal activity, fires, utility outages various threats to people, property, or the environment, and more. Be sure to opt in for the communication method that will best reach you, or all of them- text, email, phone call, etc. Residents can register by visiting: https://accountportal.onsolve.net/NewCastleAlerts or texting NewCastleAlerts to 24639. Help Initiative to Begin in Dobbinsville today, Monday, 10/14
Date Posted: Monday, October 14th, 2024We are looking forward to the Help Initiative team visiting Dobbinsville and beginning the Lights On Delaware Strong program there today. With the support of the Mayor and City Council of the City of New Castle and the City of New Castle Police Department, representatives from the HELP Initiative will be going door to door throughout the City to offer their services to residents for the Lights On Delaware Strong Program. Installation team members will be knocking on doors and placing door hangers on doors to provide you with information of their services. The HELP Initiative team members will replace outdoor light bulbs with energy efficient dusk to dawn LED bulbs.
