WATER RATES TO BE INCREASED

Municipal Services Commission’s (MSC) rate design consultant, Utility Financial Solutions (UFS), recommended a 5% overall water revenue increase after reviewing the cost of service study. There will be no changes in the MSC electric rates. The water rate increase will be effective with the April 2021 bills and results in an average residential customer experiencing an increase in their monthly bill of approximately $2.60.
