Scam Alert – Planning Commission Email

The City of New Castle is aware of a scam occurring during which someone claiming to represent the City’s Planning Commission is emailing people to review and approve City Tree Work Permit Applications, for a nominal fee. Please note that the City does not charge for Tree Work Permits.

Should you be contacted by the “City of New Castle- Planning Commission”, please contact the City of New Castle to confirm the validity 302-322-9801 and the City of New Castle Police Department to report the scam- Non-Emergency number 302-573-2800
