Mayors Proclamation to Recognize September as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in the City of New Castle and in Support of the “Turn the Towns Teal” Ongoing Awareness Campaign

New Business:
1. Council discussion, possible motion, and possible vote on Resolution 2026-35 A Resolution to Re- Appoint Jonathan Justice to the Finance Committee (Council President Suzanne Souder 8/4/2026)
2. Council discussion, possible motion, and possible vote on Resolution 2026-36 A Resolution to Authorize Outdoor Recreation, Parks, and Trails (ORPT) Grant 2026 for the City of New Castle Dog Park (Council President Suzanne Souder 8/4/2026)
3. Council discussion, possible motion, and possible vote on the expansion of blue surfacing at the Battery Park Playground to the borders of the playground (Council President Suzanne Souder 8/4/2026)
4. Council discussion, possible motion, and possible vote regarding a potential Little Library to be added at the Dobbinsville Playground. (Council Person Brian Mattaway 8/4/2026)
5. The City Council will meet and will potentially vote to enter an executive session for discussion of the following topics:

a. Pursuant to 29 Del. C. §§10004(b)(9) Strategy sessions, regarding personnel matters, in which the names, competency and abilities of individual employees or students are discussed
6. Council discussion, possible motion, and possible vote regarding a potential budget amendment to engage an intern. (Council President Suzanne Souder 8/4/2026)
7. Following the executive session, the City Council may vote on any matter discussed in executive session.
