An application has been filed by Cynthia L. Brooks & Norman H. Brooks (Applicants) and Cynthia L. Brooks & Deborah McCall (Owners), for a property located at 118 East Second Street, New Castle, DE 19720 Tax Parcel No. 21-015.20-053, seeking variances from Chapter 230 of the City Code as follows: (1) a variance from the 25 foot rear setback requirement provided in § 230-13 to allow construction of a 14 foot by 13 foot rear residential addition 3 feet from the rear property line; and (2) a variance from the 5 foot property line setback requirement for accessory buildings provided for in § 230-33 to allow construction of a 9 foot by 16 foot tool shed structure to be located on the right side property line and 3 feet from the left side property line.

For the purpose of considering this application, the Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in Old Town Hall, 2nd Floor, located at 2nd and Delaware Streets, New Castle, Delaware.
